Well hello and thanks for visiting my website.
Yes it’s true…….the final version of SHORT STORIES With A Twist is completed. The manuscript and the artwork for the cover is ready and it’s certainly been a long haul with this one. There are a few things to do yet before full publication and that will take a couple of months to put in place.
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of the early preliminary readers from Canada, the USA, France, the United Kingdom and beyond who all gave valuable contributions on both the content and the artwork.
Above all it has been a joy to receive the many, many personal comments from friends around the world who have taken the time to contact me directly and make so many delightful reviews of their favourite stories.
There are ten stories in this first volume of short stories which were selected from fourteen fully completed tales. The second volume is well on the way to completion and will be published in 2025.
I enjoyed writing about all the characters you will meet along the way. These include lords, ladies, lovers, teachers, students, a headmistress, and a man in a wheelchair amongst others.
Every story has a hero or heroine who you will take under your wing and champion their cause in the hope the end of that particular story is the way you wish it to be, but this raises a question.
Does the faint heart win the fair maiden? Certainly, you will find the answer to this question in SHORT STORIES With A Twist as the characters, places, and plots make you ask questions about your own life, experiences, and circumstances.
That’s enough for now. The book will be published on Amazon on March 1st, 2024.
